About City Impact Outreach
Since our inaugural outreach launched in October 2020 amidst the COVID pandemic, in response to a pressing need within our community, we have had the honor of serving hundreds of unhoused individuals throughout Paterson.
From day one, our outreach has been anchored in a simple yet profound belief: every person holds intrinsic value in the eyes of God. Like the shepherd in the parable of the lost sheep who leaves the ninety-nine to rescue the one, we are dedicated to finding the overlooked, the hurting, and the forgotten. Just as the shepherd rejoices upon reuniting with the lost sheep, we strive to bring hope, dignity, and joy to every individual we encounter.
What began as a humble act of obedience has flourished into a vibrant ministry. Our volunteer base has grown to over 300 and continues to expand. Thanks to their steadfast commitment, we have been able to bless, care for, and nourish the community of Paterson, NJ. It is a genuine joy to serve together as one united body in Christ.
We gather on the last Saturday of each month, weather permitting.

How We Make an Impact
- Foster relationships with our brothers and sisters in need who are confronting the struggles of homelessness.
- Prepare warm meals to nourish those who are hungry.
- Offer a facility where they can take showers and receive clean clothing.
- Provide dedicated social workers eager to assist.
- Facilitate patient detox and rehabilitation programs that are available for those seeking to embrace a transformative change.
- Secure housing for individuals transitioning out of rehabilitation after meeting program requirements.
- Create job opportunities for those who successfully complete the program.
- Link them to a local church within their community.
